Colin Bryant and the Hot Rhythm Orchestra
Colin Bryant and the Hot Rhythm Orchestra are recognized
as one of the finest international Dixieland Jazz bands on the music scene
today. The band specializes in Jazz and dance music of the roaring 20's,
30's and 40's. The six top class instrumentalists are led by Clarinetist
Colin Bryant who doubles on saxophone and comperes the show. The line-up
also includes Trumpet/vocals, Trombone/vocals, String bass/sousaphone,
Banjo/guitar/vocals and drummer percussionist.
The repertoire of the band includes music made famous by such greats as Louis Armstrong, Kid Ory, Duke Ellington, Jelly Roll Morton, The Original Dixieland Jazz Band Glen Miller and many more. A special feature of the band is a swing set from the Glen Miller era.
